Cody and I purchased the Parpala farm in the spring of 2001, shortly after we were married. Our oldest of three sons battled with excema when he was very young and so we dove into researching alternative methods of healing. Along the way we were introduced to raw goats milk, which began to make a significant difference, and in time found a source of raw cows milk. We then decided it was time to bring this retired dairy back to life. In such a short time, we have learned so much and continue to be inspired everyday. My passion for knowing where food comes from continues to grow and deepen. As I value its importance, I hope to encourage the connection of real local food and the sustainable way of life on to our boys.
